Which active ingredients does Justhair use?

For hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia), finasteride and minoxidil are the main options, the two well-studied active ingredients. They can be used individually or in combination:

• Finasteride targets the main hormonal cause of hereditary hair loss.
• Minoxidil supports hair growth at the hair root.

Whether and in which form an active ingredient is an option for you, topically as a spray or orally, is decided by the doctor after the health questionnaire. For minoxidil, oral use is not approved for this purpose in Germany and is off-label, that is, based on a doctor's benefit-risk assessment in the individual case.

A prescription is only issued if a therapy is medically suitable.
