Why is minoxidil so dangerous for cats?

Cats are extremely sensitive to minoxidil. Even small amounts can cause severe heart and circulatory damage and be fatal. Store the product safely, wash your hands after applying it, and keep your pet away from treated skin, pillows, and towels. If you suspect contact, go to the vet immediately.
